Do I need to create a login?Our automated system is set up for efficiency and security, so you’ll need to create a login and book your session through the app. Not only does this keep the process smooth, but it ensures that you’re the only one bronzing at your scheduled time. Once your account is made, you’ll be able to tan safely and securely whenever you want!

Do I need to pay when I book?Yep, you lock in your glow by paying at the time of booking. This ensures your spot and gives you one less thing to think about when you’re about to get bronzed.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?Life happens! We get it. You can cancel or reschedule your session up to 15 minutes before your appointment without any fees or hard feelings. Just pop into the app and make the change. No need for guilt trips—we’ll see you when you’re ready to glow!

Can I book someone else’s tan for them?Each Be Bronze experience is personal! To maintain the secure access our system provides, every guest needs to create their own individual profile and book separately. This allows us to send them a personalized Bluetooth key for private access to the studio.

How do I know which plan or pass is right for me?That depends on how often you plan on tanning! Our Glow Passes are great if you’re just getting started or want to tan occasionally. If you’re a regular glow-getter, our Glow Plans will give you more sessions at a lower cost per tan.

How do I book a session?It’s as easy as 1, 2, tan! Simply download the Be Bronze 24/7 app, select your preferred location, choose your session time, and boom—you’re all set. No phone calls, no awkward small talk. Just you, your phone, and your future glow.

Can I try a sample before booking a full session?Absolutely! We offer sample sachets of our colours for you to patch test at home. Just order through our website and glow with confidence.

Is the tanning solution safe for sensitive skin?Our formulas are made with natural, skin-loving ingredients, including Eco-Certified DHA, brown and green algae, and aloe vera. They’re paraben-free, cruelty-free, gluten-free, and non-comedogenic (so no clogged pores). So in general our tans are suitable for those with sensitive skin, but if you’re super cautious, try these methods; View our INGREDIENTS LIST to help identify anything that may be an irritant to your skin specifically. Order a sample of our tan and/or primer so you can patch test first. Trial the tan only and skip the primer to help focus any sensitivities.

I’m a bloke with a beard, leg hair, chest hair—basically, all the hair. Can I keep my hair and still tan?Beard, chest hair, leg hair—it’s all good! Our solution is designed to coat your skin evenly, even with body hair in the mix. Just remember to exfoliate beforehand, and your tan will come out looking smooth and even, with all your manly fuzz intact!

What should I wear to the appointment?Loose, comfy clothing - something you can lounge in afterward as tight clothes can rub off the tan while it’s setting. Bonus points if it’s dark!

Can I moisturise before my tan?On tan day? Nope! Moisturiser will block the tan from absorbing evenly. Skip your usual lotions and potions and use our hydration primer instead! It’s specifically designed to prep your skin without interfering with the tan. Plus, it gives your glow that extra boost of hydration, so your tan lasts longer and fades more evenly. Dry skin? No problem. Our primer’s got you covered!

Should I shave or wax before my tan?Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your session to give your skin time to recover and your pores time to close. This will help prevent any "dotty" or uneven patches in your tan.

How should I prep my skin before my session?Give your skin some love! Exfoliate a day before your tan to remove dead skin, but on tan day, skip the lotion, oils, and perfumes. You want your tan sticking to you, not your body butter.

What should I bring to my tanning session?In your tanning room you'll find all disposables you'll need, along with a sink, full length mirror and handy wipes. We recommend you pack your favourite clean tanning mitt though, as this can be helpful should your tan need any refining. If there’s a spot that needs a little extra love or you missed a pose, a mitt can help with easy touch-ups. Plus, we supply spray bottles of each tan for any spot fixes!

Is it okay to have my child with me during my session?TANNING ROOM: Sure! Feel free to have your child with you in the tanning room, but they must stay outside the actual tanning booth for safety. RED LIGHT WELLNESS ROOM: Just remember that the red light therapy equipment may not be suitable for children due to their developing skin and sensitivity to light therapy so this area is a child-free zone.

What if I’m running late?Things happen! If you’re running late, don’t worry - we offer a 5-minute grace period on either side of your appointment to allow for a bit of wiggle room, but with 20-minute sessions, we have to keep things flowing smoothly for the next customer. If you’re running late and it’s more than 5 minutes past your scheduled time, you’ll need to reschedule.

Is parking available?Yes, we’ve got parking spots at most locations. Don’t worry about that mad dash after your session - just park, tan, and float away bronzed and relaxed.

Can I bring a friend?Sure! But only one glow session per booth at a time. Your friend can book their own session in another tanning room or right after you . Tanning tag team!

How early should I arrive?Aim to arrive 5 minutes before your session. If you’re early, just hang tight! Your Bluetooth key will activate inside that magical 5-minute window. If you’re running behind, you have 5 extra minutes after your schedule time to check-in, but after that, you’ll need to book again for the next available spot.

Do I need to check in with anyone?Nope! It’s a solo mission. You’re in complete control with the app. Show up, unlock, and let the tanning magic happen. No human interaction required.

I’ve arrived! Now what?You’ve made it! Now, check that your bluetooth is on and open the Be Bronze 24/7 app. Tap 'check in' and hold up your phone to the bluetooth reader on the front door, you will hear and click and flash - this will open the doors for your scheduled session. You can enter the studio 5 minutes before or 5 minutes after your booking but can only enter your allocated Tan Room at your exact booking time. After entering the main entrance door, head down the hall to the numbered tan room listed in your booking. Use your bluetooth key again to swipe over the reader and unlock the door.

Do you offer rapid tans?Yes, we do! The Venetian Rapid tan is a game-changer for those who need a quick tan fix. It develops fast, and you can wash it off as soon as 1-3 hours after your session (depending on how dark you want it). A perfect choice for those with busy schedules who still want to rock a deep, sun-kissed glow!

How long will each tan last?The beauty of our tans is that they can last up to 7-10 days, depending on your skin type and aftercare. The more you hydrate and take care of your skin, the longer your tan will stay fresh and fabulous! Pro tip: Avoid long hot showers and chlorinated pools to keep your glow intact.

How can I customise my tan?Each of our three shades comes with three depth levels to choose from. Just select the corresponding number from the Tan Menu to determine how deep you want your glow. In addition, you can add a hydrating primer or opt for a second coat on your legs to ensure those gorgeous bronzed limbs get an extra pop.

Your virtual bronzing expert guides you through a set of quick questions to understand your skin type, undertones, depth preferences and even your wardrobe colours! Based on your answers, your Tan Tailor will recommend the perfect shade and depth for you.

How do I pose in the booth?It’s super easy! Our voice guide tells you exactly where to stand in tandem with the numbered foot plate guide on the floor of the booth, so there’s no guesswork involved. You'll also find our pose guide on the inside wall of the booth ensuring you receive an even tan from every angle.

How do you keep things clean and hygienic without staff on-site?Our booths perform an automatic cleaning cycle after each use, ensuring hygienic conditions between every session. Plus, we have staff who regularly visit the locations to deep clean and maintain the highest standards of hygiene. Wash down commences 90 seconds after your tanning session has ended.

Help! I think I messed up a pose!It’s an easy fix! We provide spray bottles of touch-up tan for these exact moments. Bring your favourite tanning mitt for after your session and blend in any missed areas.

Is a machine tan really as good as a human?Booths vs. humans? Our booths remove human error and awkward moments, delivering precision with each spray. They are designed to offer a totally private, consistent, and customised experience.

What do I wear inside the booth?Wear as much - or as little - as you like! Going nude is a popular choice for an all-over even tan, but if you’d prefer to wear swimwear, underwear, or one of our disposable g-strings, go for it. Just keep in mind, tan lines will match whatever you have on.

How do the tanning booths work?It’s as simple as striking a pose! Step into the tanning booth and wave your hand/press the flashing button. Your personal voice guide "Taniqua" will activate and guide you every step of the way. To position your feet, you'll be instructed to place them on the numbers featured on the position plate on the floor of the booth. Your full body pose guide can be found on our website and on the wall of the booth. A trio of HVLP spray nozzles automatically detect and adjust to your height while ensuring 360° coverage for all body types. Then The booth sprays your tan in a few quick passes based on your selected settings. In between sprays, the machine will run "dry passes" to help set your tan as you go, saving you drying time at the end. All you have to do is follow along! Cleaning? Not Your Problem! With Auto-Wash, our booths are on top of their hygiene game. Once your tan is done, the booth gets an automatic scrub-down.

How do I select my tan and start my session?STEP 1: Choose your preferred colour & depth combination from the TAN MENU (located on the next to the booth). STEP 2: Using the arrows on the grey “T-Max” box, input the corresponding number of your tan choice. STEP 3: Press the blue START button to activate the tan machine. (It will not start until you are ready) STEP 4: Enter the tan booth and press the FLASHING light to start your session.

How quick is the spray tan process?The actual spray tan process only takes about 4 minutes - so you can be glowing in under 10 minutes! Perfect for fitting into even the busiest schedule.

How do I protect my feet, hair, and dry bits from the tan?Our booths are stocked with disposable hair nets, g-strings and sticky feet pads to protect all your bits. As for dry areas like elbows, knees, and hands, apply a dab of our pre-tan barrier cream for a flawless, even glow.

Can I work out after a spray tan?It’s best to avoid working out or doing anything sweaty for at least 6-8 hours after your tan. Sweat can cause streaks or uneven development, and we want you to have that perfect glow! After your first rinse and once your tan has fully developed, you’re good to hit the gym.

Done tanning - now what?You'll notice our integrated heat ports provide warm dry passes in between sprays and after your final spray so there's no lengthy drying time needed post-tan. Gotta love that full-body blow dry! Once you're dressed, be sure to gather your things and close the room door as you exit. No need to tap your phone to exit the studio - just pull open the door as normal.

What should I do to keep my tan looking fresh?First things first - THE RINSE... this a key part of the spray tanning process. After your tanning session, we suggest doing The Rinse - a quick and simple shower under warm water, avoiding any soaps, shampoos, conditioners, or scrubbing. The purpose of this rinse is to wash off the bronze guide layer (the immediate colour you see after your tan). This guide helps ensure even application, but underneath it, your tan is still in the process of developing. Wait Before Showering: Give your tan time to fully develop by waiting at least 6-8 hours before showering as normal. Moisturise Regularly: Keeping your skin hydrated is key to extending your tan. Use a gentle, hydrating moisturiser daily. Avoid Exfoliation: Steer clear of harsh scrubs or loofahs for the first few days to avoid fading your tan prematurely. Use Gentle Products: Opt for sulfate-free body washes and lotions to keep your tan vibrant and long-lasting. Pat, Don’t Rub: When drying off after a shower, gently pat your skin dry instead of rubbing to avoid patchiness. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out.

Will the tan stain my clothes or bedsheets?Right after your session, your skin will have a temporary bronze guide layer that could transfer onto clothes or sheets. We suggest wearing dark, loose clothing and maybe skipping the white bedsheets until after your first rinse. Don’t worry though, the formula washes out easily from most fabrics!

What’s the deal with the lights?Our lights are timed for 20-minute sessions to give you enough time to prep, tan and exit. They’ll automatically turn on and off within this time frame, ensuring you’re never left in the dark - but keeping everything efficient for the planet and the next customer. If the lights happen to turn off, simply walk towards the front door and the sensor will trigger them to turn on.

The Art of "THE RINSE"The Rinse is a key part of the spray tanning process, and it’s exactly what it sounds like - a quick, simple rinse under warm water. About 1 to 4 hours after your tanning session (depending on your tan type), we recommend stepping into the shower for a quick rinse without any soaps, shampoos, conditioners, or scrubbing. The purpose of this is to gently wash off the bronze guide (the cosmetic bronzer that helps give that instant glow), while still allowing the deeper tanning colour to develop over the next several hours. Why is The Rinse Important? Removes the Cosmetic Bronzer: The rinse clears off the bronzer layer, which is designed to guide the evenness of the tan application but isn't the actual color that stays on your skin. Allows for Continued Activation: Even after rinsing, the tanning formula continues to work and activates over the next 8 hours, so your tan will deepen and become richer as time goes on. Prevents Over-Washing: Avoiding soap or any exfoliating products during this rinse helps protect the tan while it’s still in its developing stage. After The Rinse, you can go about your day, letting the color continue to set. Once you’ve reached the 8-hour mark (or longer, depending on your desired depth), you’re free to shower as normal, but we still recommend avoiding super hot water and abrasive scrubs or products to keep your tan looking fresh and lasting longer. So think of The Rinse as the halfway point of your tanning process - necessary for that flawless, even glow without interfering with the formula’s final effect!

Do I need to worry about the weather?If it’s rainy or super humid outside, we recommend bringing loose, long sleeves and an umbrella to protect your fresh tan. Your tan needs time to develop, and exposure to water can affect the outcome. But don’t stress - just keep covered, and you’ll be golden (literally)!
